Colour: Pale straw.
Aroma: This wine displays ripe tropical fruits aromas with a touch of citrus.
Palate: A full flavoured Sauvignon Blanc with classic varietal characteristics of passionfruit, gooseberry and hints of peach. All these tropical notes are combined with a clean, crisp and zesty finish to create a well balanced wine.
Notes: Established in 1947 by German winemaker, Hermann Thumm, Yaldara has been making exceptional quality wines ever since. With a magnificent chateau-style building surrounded by vineyards, Yaldara has long been recognised as one of the most picturesque wineries in South Australia’s Barossa Valley. This wine was made in a contemporary Australian style, fermented at very cool temperatures in stainless steel to retain as much fruit flavour as possible. The wine was bottled young to capture the fresh, vibrant fruit displayed.
